November is Entrepreneurship Month
Did you know?
Of the U.S. Entrepreneurs
69% start their business at home
53% start their business after the age of 50 years old
51% do not have a bachelor’s degree
About 4 years ago I started my own business, and I've loved every second of it! If you've ever thought about going out on your own or even thought of starting a side business, now's the time to take your shot. Why now? Because tomorrow never comes! Don't let this become a regret in your life. To help you think this through, here are a few suggestions:
Find a quiet place and start to brainstorm
Make sure there is a market need
Come up with a time frame - Hit your deadlines
Meet with people who have done it before
Create a plan
Make sure you have enough cash
Be relentless
Calvin Coolidge once said "Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
